Mark Bruce as a transhumanist, I’m very curious what your thoughts are on this? It’s a fascinating share (h/t to Hans Youngmann ) with a lot of the ethical points raised about what is, or is not, human about artificially enhancing our bodies and brains.
Personally, I am on the side that this kind of enhancement will become absolutely necessary to continue as a species in the face of our own technological advancement. My thought is that we will actually become the Singularity by melding biology and technology, rather than the technology itself simply taking over.
