I sincerely hope, and work every day to ensure, that my daughters never write such an obituary about me.
You have to wonder though….what was her side of the story? Was she really that bad? As a parent, the idea of abandoning my children is so inconceivable, the automatic reaction is certainly that she must have been an awful mother. Perhaps she was. But we certainly don’t know the whole story.
I’m still going to try really hard to make sure my kids don’t feel the desire to write anything like this!
