At this point, the only reasonable thing to do with the Roman Catholic Church, is to essentially burn the organization to the ground.
No, of course I’m not advocating actually burning down churches, vicarages, etc. But the entire Catholic Church itself should be deemed a criminal enterprise and disbanded. All privacy of the Confessional must be stripped, all Church records should be seized by an international, independent organization with the right to evaluate everything and refer all cases to respective national criminal courts. The Church’s wealth and property should be seized and held in trust to compensate all victims as they are found, and to fund programs to feed the starving, provide shelter & clothing for the poor, etc. All perpetrators must be brought to justice; no more hiding behind the frock!
The Roman Catholic Church has forfeited all rights to rule themselves, as they have proven themselves utterly and completely untrustworthy. They deserve no mercy for the countless crimes against children that they have concealed, lied about, attempted to justify, etc. They have proven themselves to be wolves in sheep’s clothing.
It is long past time for the Roman Catholic Church to die an ignominious death.
